ABSTRACT FIGURATIVE BOWLS

HINTO, ANUKI and DEVAKI are jewellery boxes, bowls and bonbonnières at the same time. They comprise two hand-turned wooden bowls that form an abstract figure when joined together. Their design is based on geometric shapes. They resemble each other and still have their own character. 

Made of solid ash wood that is lacquered red, blue or black, the colour is chosen in such a way that the upper bowl is a shade lighter than the lower one. The natural beauty of the ash wood remains visible under the lacquer. 

The dimensions of HINTO, ANUKI and DEVAKI are coordinated. The upper and lower bowls can be interchanged and put together to create two-colour compositions. Use the closed bowls to store jewellery or other treasures, or separate them to use them as open vessels to present sweets or other small items.
